This policy explains what data zeyadshalaby.com (the “Site”), owned by Zeyad Shalaby (“we”), collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. By using the Site or buying any service or course, you confirm that you have read this policy.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Zeyad Shalaby, a software developer working in a personal capacity from the Arab Republic of Egypt. For any question about your data, write to contact@zeyad.email.

Data we collect

• Data you give us: name, email address, phone number, and the details of your project or message when you contact us or request a service.
• Purchase data: buyer name, contact details, the product or course bought, the amount, date and status of the transaction.
• Course account data: login details, your progress through the content, and whatever is needed to give you access.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and time of visit, recorded automatically in server logs.

We do not collect or store your card details. Payment data is entered directly on the pages of the Fawaterk payment gateway and never passes through our servers.

Why we use your data

• To reply to your messages and prepare quotes.
• To carry out and deliver the services we agreed on.
• To complete purchases, grant course access and issue invoices.
• To provide technical support and solve problems.
• To protect the Site from fraud, misuse and account sharing.
• To meet legal and tax obligations.
• To send updates or offers, only if you agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on one or more of these grounds: your consent, performing a contract with you, a legal obligation on us, or our legitimate interest in running and protecting the Site, in line with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only as far as needed with:

• The Fawaterk payment gateway: to process payments and refunds. Your data there is subject to its own privacy policy.
• Our hosting provider: where the Site’s servers run.
• Communication services: such as email and WhatsApp, when you contact us through them.
• The course platform: to give you the content and track your progress.
• Authorities: when the law or a court order requires it.

Some of these parties may process data outside Egypt. We choose providers that apply suitable protection standards.

Cookies and local storage

The Site saves only two choices in your browser: language (Arabic or English) and theme (light or dark). They stay on your device and are not sent to us.

The Site loads fonts, icons and animation libraries from third-party servers (Google Fonts, jsDelivr and cdnjs), which receive your IP address like any request on the internet. We currently use no advertising cookies or tracking tools. If we add analytics, we will update this policy first.

How long we keep data

• Contact messages: for the duration of our dealings and up to three years after the last contact.
• Purchase and invoice data: for the period required by tax and commercial law.
• Course account data: for as long as your account exists. It is deleted at your request unless the law requires us to keep it.

How we protect your data

We use an encrypted connection (HTTPS), limit access to data to those who need it, and keep the Site’s systems updated. No method of electronic transfer or storage is completely secure, however. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the competent authority as the law requires.

Your rights

At any time you may:

• Know what data we hold about you and ask for a copy.
• Ask us to correct or update it.
• Ask us to delete it or restrict its processing.
• Withdraw your consent to any processing based on consent.
• Object to its use for marketing.
• File a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Center in Egypt.

To exercise any right, write to contact@zeyad.email. We reply within thirty days at most.

Minors

The Site is not directed at anyone under eighteen. If you are younger, do not use the Site or buy from it without your guardian’s consent and supervision.

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy when needed. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page, and material changes are announced on the Site or sent to you by email. The Arabic version prevails if the translation differs.
